Oyster shell powder

Powder from white oyster shells, collected by hand from the beaches of the Brittany coast (France). 100% natural product. COSMOS and NATURE & PROGRES approved.

This natural product can be used in cosmetics as:

• Remineralizing active ingredient, very rich in minerals and trace elements.
• Replacement for acrylate polymer in white opaque shower gel.
• Active mineral ingredient in exfoliating products.
• Neutralizing agent to combat the acidity of the epidermis.
• An ingredient that improves the application and distribution of the product.
• Natural mineral ingredient, ECOCERT / COSMOS/ NATURE & PROGRES in cosmetic powders.
• White pigment.
• Like an absorbent white powder.

There are three types that differ in particle size and application:

• B2BSHELL Ultrafin
• B2BSHELL Medium Exfoliant
• B2BSHELL Ultrafin

Properties of B2B Ultrafin:

• ultrafine powder, particle size D50 = 4.28μm and D90 = 14.70μm;
• remineralizing active ingredient;
• white pigment;
• matting agent for various products;
• an absorbent (for example, such as magnesia or talc);
• neutralizing agent to combat the acidity of the epidermis;
• soft abrasive (rich in calcium).

Application: powder, shower powder, dry shampoo, soap, balms, shower gel, toothpaste, deodorants, hand cream.

Properties of B2BSHELL Medium Exfoliant :

• mineral, white powder with medium particle size 400-800 μm;
• remineralizing active ingredient;
• white pigment;
• matting agent for various products;
• soft abrasive (rich in calcium).

Application: shampoos, effervescent masks, creams, scrub, glycerin peeling, oily scrub, gel scrub.

Properties of B2BSHELL Ultrafin:

• mineral white powder from scallop shells collected by hand from the beaches of the Brittany coast, particle size 95% 20μm, not certified by COSMOS and Nature & Progrès);
• active remineralizer;
• exfoliant;
• white mineral filler;
• matting agent;
• soft abrasive;
• absorbent.

Application: scrubs, effervescent bombs, effervescent masks, soap, mineral filler in decorative cosmetics.
