Description
Collagen is the most abundant protein throughout the body’s structure. This protein regulates elasticity, cell regeneration and tissue density. Unfortunately, with age, its amount in the body decreases.
Marine collagen is obtained by enzymatic hydrolysis of fish skin. Marine collagen contains more polysaccharides and fatty acids than other collagens, which plays an important role in maintaining the water balance of the skin. Some of the collagen polypeptides remain on the surface and swell, absorbing water and, therefore, smoothing the skin.
In addition, marine collagen has antioxidant properties that protect the skin from oxidative stress, aging and stimulate the biosynthesis of its own collagen. Used in cosmetics for mature and dry skin.
